The employee will perform other related general maintenance duties as assigned, including routine inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repair, adjustment, and upkeep of the employer’s facilities, equipment, and systems. Such duties may include repairing or replacing minor plumbing components such as faucets, valves, pipes, drains, and fittings; performing minor electrical maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, switches, and outlets; repairing or adjusting doors, locks, hinges, cabinets,and furniture, patching and repairing minor wall, ceiling, and surface damage; performing basic painting and touch-up work.
The employee will clean and assist with the upkeep of the employer’s facilities, including floors, walls, windows, doors, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Cleaning duties may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, sanitizing, removing trash and debris, cleaning restrooms and fixtures, washing windows and surfaces, and maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. In performing these duties, the employee may use and operate routine maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment, including brooms, mops, buckets, brushes, dustpans, vacuum cleaners, wet/dry vacuums, squeegees, and other equipment appropriate for the assigned task. The employee may also use cleaning and maintenance materials such as detergents, disinfectants, sanitizing solutions, glass cleaners, degreasers, trash bags, paper products, and other commonly used maintenance supplies.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Performs other related duties as assigned
